Maar onze instructeur leert ons met zoveel mogelijk omstandigheden om te gaan. Onderweg wordt de wind vlagerig (25 knopen, heb ik voorbij zien komen op de windmeter) tussen de winterse buien door. Was dit nu schijnbare wind? Ware wind? 🤔 Al zeilend hebben we het uitgebreid over (plots, onverwachte) veranderende weersomstandigheden en wat te doen. Rolfok in, klein driehoekje maken, 2e, 3e rif steken groot zeil, motor bijzetten, passeren de revue. Zijn praktische zeilervaring is oneindig groot, we proberen er elke keer, zoveel als ons brein kan verstouwen ervan op te nemen. Tussendoor zoeken we de naar de juiste functionaliteiten op onze nieuwe kaartplotter. Route 's, tracks, heading, we zijn er druk mee om alles naar wens in te stellen, nog niet helemaal zoals we hem hebben willen, nou ja, dat komt volgende keer wel. Na een veilige landing in onze thuishaven, altijd even napraten, ik neem dan mijn notitieblok en probeer zoveel mogelijk te noteren, van wat er nog besproken wordt, want "onthouden" zit er op dat moment niet meer in voor mij, vol is vol 😆. We sluiten de walstroom weer aan, ruimen het zeilgerij op en doen een laatste check, voordat we onze Njord achterlaten.
